The procedure is carried out by a qualified and registered Audiologist who is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). Our audiologists are fully insured, ensuring the highest standard of care.

You will be seen by a qualified Audiologist. Our services are available for individuals aged 18 years and above.

The entire process typically takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Yes, it is recommended to use a medically approved olive oil spray or drops twice a day for 5 days prior to your appointment. This helps to soften the earwax, making the removal process more effective.

We accept bank transfers, card payments, and cash.

A consultation fee of £40 will be charged for the Ear Health Checkup.

Yes, we provide services to a variety of care homes, including nursing, retirement, and residential homes. We are committed to offering convenient and professional care directly at your location.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
If we detect any abnormalities or infections, our clinician will inform your GP and provide a referral. This helps ensure you get the care you need quickly and efficiently, making the process smoother for you.

It may be. The micro-suction method works best when the earwax is soft. Olive oil helps to soften the wax before the procedure. If you haven’t used it, the earwax might be harder, which could make the micro-suction less effective. We can discuss alternative options with you during your appointment.
While it’s rare, we can address other issues such as insects or foreign objects in the ear, provided it’s safe to do so. Our primary concern is ensuring that any removal is done without causing further damage to your ear. If something unusual is found, we’ll assess the situation and proceed with the safest approach.
It’s best to wait before having a hearing test. The micro-suction procedure can temporarily affect your hearing due to the loud sounds involved, which might make the results less accurate. We recommend scheduling the hearing test at a later time to ensure the results are precise.

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, it’s best to keep pets in a separate room during the procedure. This helps ensure a sterile environment and minimizes any risk of contamination. Please have your pets in a different room before the clinician arrives.

You can lie down if you have mobility issues or find it more comfortable. However, sitting up straight is generally preferred as it makes the procedure easier for the clinician. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure a comfortable experience.
